Weekly Meal Plan June 10-16: $78

06/07/12 17:21

Coupon Kitchen features menus for Harris Teeter, Bi-Lo and Lowes Foods. Of those three, Harris Teeter is the most commonly visited store in this area, so I'll share those here. But you can link to the menus for Bi-Lo and Lowes, too.

I had a few guests at my house last weekend for a bachelorette celebration and one of the girls looked at my weekly menu on the fridge and said "wow, you guys eat a lot of chicken." Yes, we do and this is a chicken lovers' week at Harris Teeter! The 2.5 lb frozen bags of chicken are B2G3 free making it $1.64/lb which is the cheapest per pound price I have seen.

The subtotal this week is $76. That only includes two bags of chicken valued at $4.20 with the deal. You must buy all 5 bags of chicken to get this deal so when you check out, the total will actually be $89. However, you'll have plenty of chicken to use over the next few weeks! The shopping list reflects the amount of food you need to make the recipes for four servings. However, be sure to double or triple the recipes when you’re cooking as most of the serving sizes are for two.
