Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a fantastic week last week! Although mine was a lot less productive than I had hoped, I still managed to lose a few pounds according to my scale at home.
On Wednesday, I started to feel a little funky. I was hoping to avoid the incoming bug but by Friday I was full-blown sick. I powered through my Insanity DVDs but I, unfortunately, had to wave the white flag when it came to classes at Flex + Fit. 100-degree fever plus 100-degree hot yoga sounded like it was going to be about as easy as petting a goldfish. So, I was only able to accomplish one of my small goals this week which was drinking eight 8oz glasses of water every day (which has even helped knock out my cold faster). Next weeks small goal? Get to that Flex + Fit class! While I spent most of my time as the mayor of baby town this week complaining and whining how yucky I felt, I was also able to continue working on some wedding stuff. By having a long engagement, Ive had a ton of time to do my research which has allowed me to realistically do our budget via WeddingWire. I choose this particular app because it allows you to pick an amount that youd like to plan your wedding with then it distributes the funds based on average costs. After that, you can add, delete, and modify all you want!
Although weve pretty much thrown out all of our ideas from our original planning, we decided to most definitely keep out venue The Brakefield at Riverwalk. From the moment we met Carol, the owner, last November, we knew it was going to be a match made in heaven. The venue is brand new (had their first wedding in April or May I think), sits on the Catabwa River, and is nothing like we had seen before. Its perfect!
Next week we will take on ways to get motivated!
Until then!
World peace and skinny jeans,
Sheri xo
