Now that John Edwards’ trial is over, it’s Rielle Hunter’s turn in the spotlight.
Edwards’ former mistress will appear on ABC News’ 20/20 on June 22. According to the network, she’ll talk about her current relationship with the former U.S. senator from North Carolina and his relationship with their daughter, Quinn.
The show is the first in a series of appearances during which Hunter is touting her new book, “What Really Happened: John Edwards, Our Daughter, and Me.”
The book is scheduled to be published June 26. That day, Hunter will appear on “Good Morning America” and “Nightline” as well as “The View.”
Edwards was acquitted May 31 on one federal corruption charge while a judge declared a mistrial on five others that left the jury deadlocked.
Hunter has been living in Charlotte.
