Iredell-Statesville school leaders are looking into how a picture that one parent described as pornography made it into a high school yearbook.

WSOC-TV reported the photo in question appears in the 2012 annual for Lake Norman High School. The picture reportedly shows a former student who lifted her graduation gown to her waist, exposing portions of her body. But one parent told the station she thinks the girl was showing her genitals.

A spokeswoman for the Iredell-Statesville School District said the district believes the image was put in the book by accident, WSOC-TV reported.
