Art in the Wild
Participate in garden art with bottle trees and gazing balls. Visit with artists and join demonstrations. 7 p.m. Saturday at Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden, 6500 South New Hope Road, Belmont. $12 for adults, $10 for seniors (60-plus), $6 for children 4-12. Free for members. Details: 704-825-4490.

Summer Solstice: A Toast to the Season
Toast the longest day of the year and enjoy a playlist of summer classics in the main garden. 6-7:30 p.m. June 21 at Wing Haven, 248 Ridgewood Ave. $20 for members, $25 for non-members, refreshments included. Space is limited, ages 21 and up. To register: www.winghavengardens.com.
