Concord Art Walk

Stroll down Union Street and enjoy art galleries, live demonstrations, music and more. At 9 p.m., following the walk, catch a free screening of the locally produced film, “Redneck Roots,” at Davis Theatre, 65 Union Street South.

Family Summer Camp

Father’s Day

Free days at the Bechtler

Dads get into the Bechtler for free all weekend; kids get in free noon-4:30 p.m. during Family Day on Saturday. Other adults are admitted for half price, and there will be a number of free family activities, including creating acrylic paintings and paper “stained glass.”

Davidson’s Concerts on the Green

Lake Norman Big Band performs. Bring a picnic and enjoy the 20-piece ensemble as it plays big band swing music.
