Knowing your prostate cancer risk

Presbyterian Cancer Center will offer free prostate screenings 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Presbyterian Hospital Huntersville Medical Plaza, 10030 Gilead Road, Suite 200, Huntersville. Screenings will include prostate cancer education, examination by urologist, blood work with results sent to you and your physician. To check eligibility and register: 704-384-2273.

Senior Resource Evening

Information on insurance, home health and assistive care options, retirement living, rehab facilities and end of life care and options will be available in a casual setting 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at the Coltrane Life Center, 321 Corban Avenue SE, Concord. Hosted by BAYADA Home Health Care, the free event will also offer a barbecue dinner. Details: 704-795-5000.
