Charlotte area bands of all genres will perform Pink Floyd’s “The Wall” in its entirety. Doors open at 8 p.m.

Movie

Captain America: The First Avenger

Enjoy an outdoor movie in South End with South End Cinema. Bring your blankets or chairs for “Captain America: The First Avenger” (2011). Food trucks will be on site starting around 5:30 p.m.

Cycling

Free Race Day

3 p.m. Saturday. BMX track at Hornet’s Nest Park, 6301 Beatties Ford Road. ncbmx.com

Bring your BMX bike for a free clinic and race. Starting at 3 p.m. you can register for the 3:30 p.m. clinic; at 5 p.m. register for the free race. The event is part of a nationwide effort to promote Olympic values and participation in sports regardless of age, gender or athletic ability.

Families of Abraham

3 p.m. Sunday, Levine Museum of the New South, 200 E. Seventh St. museumofthenewsouth.org

This photographic narrative explores the commonalities among Jewish, Christian and Muslim faiths. It opens Sunday with remarks from the creator, followed by a discussion among local religious leaders. The event is free, and the museum will be free all day.

Movie

Cult Movie Monday

8 p.m. Monday. Actor’s Theatre, 650 E. Stonewall St. 704-342-2251. lightfactory.org

Cult Movie Monday is a joint project of The Light Factory and Theatre 360. This month’s installment is “The Warriors” (1979). Admission and popcorn is free. There is a cash bar and contests after the film. Doors open at 7 p.m.
