One person was hurt Thursday afternoon in an accident on Lake Wylie, according to authorities.
Charlotte firefighters said the incident, involving a personal watercraft, happened about 3:45 p.m. on Lake Wylie at the mouth of the South Fork River.
Paramedics said they took one person with injuries described as potentially life threatening to Carolinas Medical Center.
Details about the accident and the name of the victim weren’t immediately available.
