N.C. League of Conservation Voters honors Mecklenburg legislator Martha Alexander

Rep. Martha Alexander, D-Mecklenburg, has been honored as Representative of the Year by the N.C. League of Conservation Voters.

Alexander, a legislator for 19 years, has a lifetime conservation score of 97 percent from the league. She co-sponsored a bill on energy-policy this year and measures on water efficiency and toxic chemicals.
