Some storm damage on area roads

Motorists are finding a number of storm-related problems this Monday morning on roads in the Charlotte region.

In addition, there are a few wrecks being reported across the area.

Here is a summary of problems reported at 8 a.m.:

Park Road at Hillside Avenue ... Downed tree blocking a lane. Crews are working to clear the tree.

Tyvola Road at South Boulevard ... Storm debris in the area, with minor to moderate delays.

Park Road near South Mecklenburg High ... Storm debris being cleared from the road.

Old Concord Road, near Newell Elementary ... Downed tree blocking a lane, with minor delays.

Poplar Tent Road ramp to I-85 ... A downed tree has been cleared. Traffic moving.

I-85 southbound, Kings Mountain ... A downed tree is being cleared from the right lane, with moderate delays.

Providence Road inbound, near Fairview Road ... Storm debris in the road.

Randolph Road, near the Mint Museum ... A water main break has one inbound lane closed.

Grace Avenue, Lancaster ... A wreck with injuries reported about 7:45 a.m.; motorists should avoid the area until at least 8:30 a.m.
