GRANITE FALLS -- Caldwell County authorities are investigating another fire at a mobile home on a road in the southern part of the county.
The latest fire was reported about 2 a.m. Friday on Rock Creek Circle, in the Grace Chapel community east of Granite Falls. A mobile home was destroyed in the blaze -- just yards from where another mobile home was heavily damaged by a fire in the past week.
Each mobile home was vacant.
No injuries were reported among firefighters.
