Lawyers for Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise have hammered out a divorce agreement that gives the actress primary custody of the couple’s daughter but allows both sides a say in her religious upbringing, a source familiar with the negotiations said Monday.

How 6-year- old Suri Cruise will be raised was the only real issue on the table during talks in New York, because a prenuptial agreement governed how much money Holmes would get from the vastly wealthier Cruise, the source said.

Holmes was unconcerned with the financial settlement because, the source said, “she has her own money.”

Holmes, raised Roman Catholic, was concerned about the role the Church of Scientology, Cruise’s spiritual home, would play in Suri’s upbringing and sought terms that would allow her to set limits on its influence, the source said.

The divorce agreement provides Cruise with visitation with his daughter but gives Holmes the lead role in choosing how Suri will be educated, the source said.

Cruise’s longtime legal representative, Bert Fields, said in a statement that the movie star was “really pleased” that an agreement had been reached. Los Angeles Times

Because the world didn’t have enough Kardashians to keep up with: Kourtney Kardashian and boyfriend Scott Disick have birthed a new reality star, Penelope Scotland Disick.

This is the second baby for Kardashian, 33, and Disick, 29, who are also parents to dapperly dressed Mason Disick, 2.

Penelope was born early Sunday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and weighed in at 7 pounds and 14 ounces, according to E! News.

“Scott and I are overjoyed to welcome our precious angel Penelope Scotland Disick into our lives. We are forever blessed. Mommy and baby are resting comfortably,” the reality starlet told E!.

Christopher Nolan says no to ‘Justice League’

Now that Christopher Nolan is done with his epic Batman trilogy, the filmmaker has quashed speculation that he might be involved in a “Justice League” movie featuring the Dark Knight.

Writer-director Nolan said his take on Batman wraps up with “The Dark Knight Rises,” his third and final film centered on the DC Comics superhero. In an interview over the weekend to promote the finale, Nolan said he has no “Justice League” plans.

“No, none at all,” Nolan said. “We’re finished with all we’re doing with Batman.”

Nolan resurrected the Dark Knight with 2005’s “Batman Begins” and shattered box-office records with 2008’s “The Dark Knight,” which won a posthumous Academy Award for Heath Ledger as the Joker. Associated Press
