Emily and her top three headed off to Curacao this week and soaked up some sun! It was the perfect location to fuel the romance between her and the final three, but also inspire a little envy in the viewers (I know those white sandy beaches made me jealous). Emily had three completely different experiences with each of her bachelors, and while she feels strongly for each of the guys, she knew she had to make at tough choice this week.
Sean was romantic and the perfect date last night. With Ricki always at the forefront of her mind, Emily is looking for a strong family man and Sean definitely fulfills that role. As Ive said before, he has had a great upbringing and showcases some really attractive qualities. Last nights date was no different. Poor Sean struggled to express how he was feeling, but after a helicopter ride to their own private island, snorkeling in the crystal waters, and a private dinner on the beach, he finally said, I love you. In order to be a good role model to her daughter, she decided not to spend the night with Sean in the Fantasy Suite; however, she did get the opportunity to hear the heartfelt letter he wrote to Ricki.
Continuing with the family vibe, Jef took the opportunity to get serious this week. Of course, theyve always had fun together, so they enjoyed a fun-loving day on the water first. But during dinner, Jef had some tough questions for Emily. He had questions about Emilys past relationships, about relocating, and even if she thought hed make a good father. Emily loves Jefs fun side and thinks he will make a great father; however, she also loves how well he understands her. In fact, she was pleasantly surprised when he turned down the key to the Fantasy Suite. Out of respect for Ricki and their families, Jef didnt want to spend the night together, and Emily felt the same way.
While the chemistry has always been there, the physical attraction between Arie and Emily was its strongest this week. In fact, Emily didnt even offer Arie the key to the Fantasy Suite because she didnt trust herself with him. Although there was lots of kissing, Arie showed that he took the role of a father seriously. He started asking Emily about their future together and explained his interpretation of what being a father meant. It showed that, amidst all the physical attraction, Arie takes their relationship seriously and wants it to work.
However, one bachelor had to go home tonight, and while Emily wasnt ready to say goodbye to anyone, she knew it was time. I was shocked to see that she sent Sean home. Although I am team Arie, and would love to see them together, I thought for sure that he was going home this week. She seemed to have concerns that their relationship was mostly physical and she seemed so confident with Sean. Were you surprised about Emilys choice this week?
