One man was wounded in a shooting in southeast Charlotte Tuesday night.
The shooting happened around 8:15 p.m. near the 7700 block of Krefeld Glen Drive, located off East Independence Boulevard near Margaret Wallace Road. There area is also near a CarMax, a used car retailer.
Paramedics said they took one person, who suffered injuries described as life-threatening, to Presbyterian Hospital.
Police said they were interviewing witnesses and had only a vague description of the suspect.
The victim is expected to survive, police said.
