Grand opening celebration

M/I Homes is celebrating their grand opening at the Cureton community in Waxhaw with a free community day from noon to 3 p.m. July 21. Cureton is located off N.C. 16 and Brey Bryum Road. The event will include free fried chicken, barbecue and ice cream sundae bar. Children’s face painting and games will be available, as well as the chance to win a Kindle Touch and $150 shopping spree. Tours of the M/I Homes’ model home will be available.
