Showers and thunderstorms are possible again Friday across the Charlotte region. Meanwhile, the high could reach 85 degrees in the Queen City.
The National Weather Service is forecasting patchy fog during the morning commute, followed by isolated rain between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Scattered showers and thunderstorms could follow in the afternoon.
There also is a chance for more showers and storms during the weekend, before conditions clear up on Monday and Tuesday. But rain is forecast to move back into the region by mid-week.
Temperatures also are expected to climb closer to normal in the coming days. Sundays high is expected to be 90.
