No injuries have been reported after several shots were fired early Friday into a condo community in east Charlotte.
A person called 911 to say they heard about seven gunshots around 5:30 a.m. in the area around the Windsor Gate Lane off East W.T. Harris Boulevard. But neighbors on the scene reported hearing as many as 40 gunshots, reports NewsChannel 36, the Observer’s news partner.
Five condos were hit with gunfire, as well as one car, but there are no reported injuries at this point.
Police detectives on scene refused to comment on the situation.
