Hello fellow fit challengers!

I hope everyone is continuing to progress in their journey.

Not much has been going on in my fitness world. Like I said during my last blog, I kicked my current regime to the curb. I haven't had the chance to really start the new one, though. I started a new job at Carmen!Carmen! Salon and Spa a few weeks ago, so I've been pretty busy over there. I've been working until late at night so I've had to try and get my workouts in super late a night which has been difficult.

I did, however, have time this week to get my hair done. After seeing myself in the magazine (which is out now. Woohoo!), I thought my hair looked borderline ridiculous. The stylist who did my hair was Krystin Hanner, this cutest little blonde I've ever met in my entire life. Now, I'd be completely honest if I didn't like the end result -- I'm pretty serious when it comes to my hair. The cut and color she gave me is the most amazing cut and color I've had in my entire life. I even posted a picture on my twitter and Instagram! It was nice to pamper myself a bit with all the craziness going on. I've been trying to figure out my nature color before the wedding, which hasn't made an appearance since the 8th grade.

Other than that, this week has been really uneventful. I'm a little bit nervous about our next weigh-in at Flex + Fit because I don't feel as though I've made much progress. That's okay though, I know I'll get back on the horse!

On a side note, I'd like to take a moment to get up on my soap box. I'm sure everyone heard about the senseless killings in Colorado. First and foremost, my heart goes out to the family's and friends of those involved. I cannot even fathom the amount of pain they are enduring. It makes me absolutely sick to my stomach that someone could take the lives of innocent people. It also angers me. It angers me that incidents such as this occur in our world on a fairly regular basis. There are no excuses for this man. He is a monster and should not only be brought to justice in this life, but the one after as well. During this time, I hope our country comes together and helps in any way that they can. Be something bigger than yourself at this time. Volunteer somewhere. Give advice to a friend in need. Join a cause. Help hold humanity together.

I hope next week brings some brighter days (literally).

World peace (now more than ever) and skinny jeans,

Sheri xo
