The Caldwell County Sheriffs Office has arrested three people in connection with a larceny ring.
Arrested were Jethro Joseph Hamby, 28, Dusty Ray Whisnant, 24, and Jessica Mozelle Ford, 26. All three live in the Patterson area of Caldwell County, which is where several larcenies have taken place, according to a release from the sheriffs office.
After months of investigating and collecting evidence, investigators arrested Hamby this weekend and later arrested Whisnant and Ford, whom they believe worked together to steal.
Hamby was charged with three counts of breaking and entering, three counts of larceny, three counts of possession of stolen property, one count of felony probation violation and two counts of obtaining property by false pretense. He is in the Caldwell County Detention Center under a $35,000 bond.
Whisnant was charged with obtaining property by false pretense and possession of stolen property. He is in Caldwell County Detention Center under $20,000 bond.
Ford was charged with obtaining property by false pretenses and was released after posting for her $1,000 bond.
Additional charges are expected in the cases, the release said.
