Recent Ardrey Kell High graduate David Hawisher was named a winner of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s National Merit scholarship.
Colleges select award winners from a list of finalists in the National Merit scholarship program. Each college-sponsored award provides between $500 and $2,000 annually for up to four years of undergraduate study.
