Police say a man exposed himself Tuesday morning to two women jogging on the track behind the Harris YMCA in south Charlotte.
It happened about 5:45 a.m., according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg police. They say the women noticed the man, wearing only a baseball cap, standing near a wooded area behind the YMCA.
The man was gone before police arrived.
The Harris YMCA has sent out a notice to its members, informing them of the incident and providing safety tips. YMCA officials advised members to run indoors -- or run in groups or take a cell phone if they run outdoors.
Police say the man was a white male, about 5 feet 10, with light brown hair. He had a muscular build, according to the description.
