SALISBURY -- Authorities say a woman wanted by law enforcement officials in New York might be in the Rowan County area.
Theresa Clinding is wanted in connection with the theft of money May 26 from the Rangoli Indian Restaurant in New Rochelle, north of New York City. Authorities in New York say a “large amount” of money was taken.
Clinding has connections to the Salisbury area, according to the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office.
She is a black female with medium-colored skin, 5 feet 7 to 5-9, and weighs 130 pounds. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call New York State Crimestoppers, 1-866-313-8477.
