The Answer Guy answers your questions:

Who's your favorite Tour golfer?

If I say Tiger Woods, I'm gonna get yelled at so let's take him out of the equation. That leaves me with a 30-way tie.

How do you feel about the pace of play nowadays?

The same way I feel about political campaigns, pureed turnips and John Daly's pants.

Speaking of political campaigns, if they were running for president, which of the following would get your vote – Phil Mickelson, Hunter Mahan, Boo Weekley?

I'd write in Paula Creamer.

If you could choose anyone to play golf with for a day, where would you start?

I'd start with David Feherty, the former Ryder Cupper, author, TV personality and funniest man on earth. That is, if Jesus was busy that day.

How do you feel about the game nowadays?

It's not what I would like it to be but Palmer and Nicklaus aren't playing anymore. It's like golf on steroids. I'd like to see more players separate themselves, become bigger stars, but it's not going to happen. They're just playing musical chairs out there.

It's the opening round of the PGA Championship. Whom do you watch?

Whom? Tiger, of course. Phil Mickelson, though he's not much to look at these days. Bubba Watson. Rickie Fowler. Rory McIlroy. Jason Day. Hunter Mahan for his swing. And the Charlotte Connection.

What do you look for when you're out watching a tournament?

The men's room. Oh, you mean golf-wise? Who can spin the ball backward the farthest.

What's the difference between women's golf and men's golf?

Equipment.

How's your own game these days?

My game? It's so bad my three wood has blood blisters, my sand wedge is so worn down it looks like a razor blade, my putter tries to hide when I reach for it and I refer to my bets as an unrefundable entry fee. Other than that, it's OK.

What do you consider the best innovation golf has experienced in the last 50 years?

Cart girls.

If, as is being threatened, long putters are outlawed, what will you do?

Four putt.
