Smile leaders

Lindsay Consentino, Grace Holland, Ashton Lozzi, Kylie Ryan and Rachel Sidari of Charlotte Catholic High School and Sophie Dockstader of Ardrey Kell High attended Operation Smile’s 21st annual International Student Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C., this summer.

Operation Smile is a charity that works in more than 60 countries to provide free reconstructive surgery for children born with facial deformities such as cleft lip and cleft palate. The six students joined more than 500 high school and college students from more than 20 countries around the world to develop their skills as future philanthropic leaders.
