A man died early Sunday after crashing his car in the 13000 block of Zoar Road near Lake Wylie, according to Charlotte Mecklenburg Police.
Dan McGee was driving alone when his 2007 Infiniti M45 ran off the road and overturned before striking a tree, police said.
McGee was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said they did not know whether alcohol contributed to the crash, although they did say that speed was a factor.
