Traffic will be detoured Monday morning because of pavement repairs following a water main break on Old Pineville Road.
Officials with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Utility Department (CMUD) said the break occurred early Sunday and was fixed by around 2 p.m.
However, because of heavy damage to the pavement, the road will remain closed between Yancy Road and Southside Drive.
Detour signs are in place. CMUD officials didn’t know when the pavement repairs would be completed.
