After the confusion and disappointment surrounding stepping on the scale last month, this months weigh-in at Flex + Fit brought a fresh breath of air. To be honest, I feel like I never know what to expect when I get up on that scale, and I had prepared myself for the worse just in case. Thankfully that preparation wasnt needed this time! As I held my breath, I was relieved to find out that I was down six pounds for this past month!
Staying focused was a big task due to all that I had going on, but I think carefully watching what I was eating and counting calories played a big part in this months weight loss. While I tried hard to make sure I was getting my cardio in, there were times where it didnt happen. This means I had to stay on plan with what I was eating. Eating smaller meals more frequently has been essential for me. It helps to calm the cravings and prevents over-eating. Following the weigh-in, I left to spend a weekend with some of my friends/bridesmaids while I have a little break from school before starting the fall semester. I dont get to see them as much as I would like to so it was great to get away and relax with the ladies. Now its time to gear up for fall classes that will be in full force very soon. Have tips, advice, or just a little wisdom to offer? Please share it with me here!
