Man, woman, arrested for sex charges involving minors

A Charlotte woman and a Rock Hill man were arrested this weekend in separate cases involving sexual abuse of minors.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police arrested Shirley Jean Miller, 63, on Saturday and charged her with three counts of indecent liberties with a child and two counts of communicating threats. Miller is in jail under $152,000 bond.

Also on Saturday, Cornelius police arrested Michael Brian Wise, 43.

Wise has been charged with three counts of statutory rape or sexual offense and one count of solicitation of a child by a computer to commit an unlawful act. Wise is in jail under a $175,000 bond.
