The 4200 block of Old Pineville Road between Southside Drive and Yancey Road closed Sunday and is scheduled to reopen late Wednesday.
The road has been closed for emergency water main and road repairs, according to a release from the Charlotte Department of Transportation.
The road should open late Wednesday night, and detour signs are in place, the release said. The Charlotte Area Transit System has not been affected, and local access will be maintained.
