Stallone: Son's death 'very tough'

As investigators seek to determine the cause of Sage Stallone’s death, his father, Sylvester Stallone, is speaking out for the first time about his loss.

“It’s tough. It’s very, very tough,” Stallone told ABC’s “Good Morning America.” “It’s a horrible situation, but time will hopefully heal and you try to get through it, but it’s just something. It’s a reality of life.”

After his son’s death, Stallone canceled all his public appearances for “The Expendables 2.” Now, though, “I think it’s important to get back and start reliving your life. Otherwise, you can go into a spiral,” he said.

The action movie, which opens Friday, features some old friends and industry rivals, including Jean-Claude Van Damme, Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Statham and Dolph Lundgren. Los Angeles Times

Ron Palillo, TV’s ‘Horshack,’ dies

Ron Palillo, who portrayed the goofy high school underachiever Arnold Horshack in the hit 1970s sitcom “Welcome Back, Kotter” with such definitive oddballness that he had trouble for years afterward finding work as an actor, died on Tuesday in West Palm Beach, Fla. He was 63.

The apparent cause was a heart attack, said his agent, Scott Stander.

“Welcome Back, Kotter” starred Gabe Kaplan as a high school teacher returning to his alma mater in Brooklyn to take over an unruly class of remedial students known collectively as the Sweathogs: Vinnie Barbarino (played by John Travolta), Freddie Washington ( Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs), Juan Epstein ( Robert Hegyes) and Horshack.

Travolta was the only one of the four to become a star. Hegyes died in January at 60.

Lozada to divorce Johnson

Evelyn Lozada is ending her 41-day-old marriage to Chad Johnson after the football star was arrested for allegedly head-butting her over the weekend.

A rep for the VH1 reality star confirmed reports that Lozada filed for divorce on Tuesday.

“Given the recent events that have taken place, Evelyn has decided to file for divorce and move on with her life,” Lozada’s lawyer, Michael Gilden, told the TV show “The Insider” in a statement. Johnson’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, declined to comment.

The marriage imploded on Saturday after an argument between the two ended with Lozada being treated at a hospital for lacerations to her head. Associated Press
