INDIAN TRAIL -- Several federal agents raided a home in Indian Trail on Thursday afternoon during a multi-state fraud and money laundering investigation.
Federal agents went inside a home in a subdivision along Crismark Drive near Mill Grove Road in Union County.
Authorities removed items from the home and placed them in boxes outside on the driveway. One person has been arrested, NewsChannel 36 has learned, and agents with the Homeland Security Investigation are on scene.
Agents told NewsChannel 36 the investigation spans South Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee.
The name of the suspect has not been released.
