Discovery Place: DNC and fall operating hours

Discovery Place will participate in CarolinaFest, the DNC's family-friendly convention event, and be open Monday, September 3 from noon until 5 p.m. Admission is half price.
Discovery place will be closed to the public Sunday, September 2 and Tuesday, September 4 through Thursday, September 6. Visit the Web site for updates and changes to the schedule.
Discovery Place KIDS-Huntersville and the Charlotte Nature Museum will remain open to the public throughout the DNC and will extend operating hours on Monday, September 3 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
Beginning Friday, September 7 the museum's fall hours will take effect. Operating hours will be as follows: Monday through Friday 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Saturday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sunday noon-5 p.m.
