Ever have those days?
All I have to say is thank goodness for leggings; they are stretchy, comfy, and most importantly, slimming. So if you're having a day like this, put these bad boys on and you'll instantly bump up that self-esteem score :)
I had written about how I was excited about coming back to college because it meant that I would be losing weight. Ha! I don't know what it is but I have suddenly gotten the munchies. Having the munchies can be detrimental to a diet plan. A nibble of triple chocolately chocolate cake here, a small handful of M&M's there, and half a Snickers bar before bed and you've instantly gained 10 pounds! While these aren't necessarily bad if in moderation and spread out between days, it becomes a problem when the munchies for all things sinful and delicious are just about every 3 hours. I love my friends but it doesn't help when I return to my desk and there's a Rolo sitting there or a peppermint patty. How can I resist? As I was talking to Jason about my munchies, he went all scientific on me and started telling me that the emotion of boredom, sleep depravity, and hunger are all very interrelated in the human brain.
Great, check all three for me.
Plan for the week? Get myself busy with homework, a new semester, friends and Pinterest (like I need another reason to get on Pinterest!). Speaking of a new semester, I just started my senior year and it's already looking fabulous! My friends and I just moved into a new dorm on campus and there's already a number of funny stories to be told. I'm excited to get back into intramural volleyball and get involved with the Y again --I gotta get my Zumba on!
As far as wedding plans go, they're going great! My mom, wedding planner and myself figured out the centerpieces for the wedding and they couldn't be more gorgeous, if I do say so myself. :) I love mason jars and wanted to incorporate them into the wedding and boy, did we do that. My parents' living room is flooded with mason jars and all of the decorations going into them. We'll have to get into canning or something after the wedding...
If you have any ideas for mason jar decorations, I would love to hear them!
