5 graduates get $1,500 scholarships

Five recent graduates from West Iredell High will begin college with $1,500 scholarships from the West Iredell Ruritan Club.

The students, college and field of study: Kyle Farley, Mitchell Community College, computer programming/networking; Khloe Rowe, Mars Hill College, sociology and criminal justice; Molisa Shuford, Lenior-Rhyne University, nursing; Adam Sparks, Western Carolina University, criminal justice; and Christopher Thompson, N.C. State, engineering.
