In late summer, theres something glorious about a rooftop patio. Here are three hotels with rooftops you can enjoy even if you arent a guest.

Tallahassee, Fla.
From the rooftop of the Hotel Duval, you can see Floridas Capitol and downtown Tallahassee. The Level 8 Lounge, a hip nightspot on the terrace, open 4 p.m.-2 a.m., is where you can enjoy a cocktail, tapas and, of course, panoramic views of the sunsets.

Marrakech, Morocco
From the terrace of La Sultana, a hotel just steps inside the medina (old quarter), there are breathtaking views of the city, including the Koutoubia mosque and the town square. The elegant tables and well-stocked bar makes this a great place to dine or lounge with a cocktail after visiting the nearby Saadian Tombs, a 16th-century mausoleum and UNESCO heritage site discovered in 1917. The tombs, which also can be seen from the terrace, house the corpses of the Saadi dynasty that ruled Morocco from 1554 to 1659.
