Missing teen found safe

A teenager who went missing from her home Saturday night has been found safe, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg police.

Natalie Marus, 18, walked away from home around 11 p.m. Saturday after a disagreement with her family, police said.

According to a post on Carmel Baptist Church's Facebook page, church members organized a search party Sunday afternoon.

By Sunday night, police reported that Marus had been found.
