Jesus at the Core
This two-day wellness event is offered by Holy Yoga and Revelation Wellness. The Christian “worship-meets-workouts,” Bible studies, meditation, live music and healthy refreshments will be offered 6-9 p.m. Friday and 8:30 a.m.-1:15 p.m. Saturday at Warehouse 242, 2307 Wilkinson Blvd. A tax-deductible donation of $50 for both days is suggested, online registration encouraged: www.holyyoga.net/workshops.

Nephrology Nurses Week
The Greater Charlotte Chapter of the American Nephrology Nurses’ Association (ANNA) will join the nationwide celebration honoring nephrology nurses during the week of Sept. 9-15. The Greater Charlotte ANNA chapter will hold a dinner, 6-7:30 p.m. Sept. 12 at Carpe Diem, 1535 Elizabeth Ave., among other activities.
