Raleigh mother accused of stabbing her teenage son

RALEIGH Police have arrested a Raleigh mother on charges of stabbing and seriously injuring her 14-year-old son.

Arrest records show that Latasha Nicole Wllis, 34, of 1950-104 Orchard Hollow Lane, is accused of stabbing her son in the neck and side with a knife. Willis was arrested Saturday and charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury and intentional child abuse.

Police have not given a reason for the stabbing.

Willis is being held at the Wake County jail on a $250,000 secured bond.
