ROCK HILL A Rock Hill woman was arrested Monday after police say she stabbed her husband in his pelvic area with a steak knife.

Henrietta Bryant, 58, was charged with criminal domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature, according to a Rock Hill police report.

Bryant told police that when she tried to enter her husband’s room, they began to argue and both were knocked to the ground, the report states.

Bryant told police she picked up a steak knife while her husband, 53, pushed a table at her to keep her back. Bryant said she lunged at her husband and stabbed him in his “upper left pelvic region,” the report states.

Bryant’s husband received medical treatment at Piedmont Medical Center, while Bryant was arrested. Both said that the “situation” between them had been escalating for several months.
