The Charlotte Bobcats might work out former NBA All-Star Tracy McGrady soon, to explore whether the 15-season veteran guard-forward could help the roster.
McGrady, 33, played last season for the Atlanta Hawks, averaging 5.3 points and 44 percent shooting off the bench.
• The Bobcats will hold a joint news conference with UNC Asheville on Wednesday, when the team is expected to announce it will hold training camp on the college's campus next month.
The Bobcats previously trained in Charlotte or at UNC Wilmington.
