No injuries were reported Friday afternoon in a southeast Charlotte house fire, authorities say.
The fire was reported shortly before 4:30 p.m. at a residence in the 5100 block of Addison Drive. That is in the Sherwood Forest community, between Sharon Amity and Rama roads.
Fire officials said crews found smoke coming from the house when they arrived. It took the crew of 27 fire fighters a little more than 20 minutes to subdue the blaze. There is no word on the cause and damage estimate.
