Hello fellow Get Fitters!

What a weird week! It seemed as though with the DNC in town, everything was put a halt – except for my workout regime! I’ve made great progress in both my endurance and strength. As an added bonus, I was excited to move several more marbles from my “Left over” jar and into my “Lost it” jar. My progress has been slow, but steady and well worth the hard work and dedication. Everything seems to be fitting a little bit better and that’s a GREAT feeling!

This past week I had a nice little break from school. With all the chaos and street closures, my schools administration decided to just close campus down for a week. Woop, woop! Instead of sitting through three-hour lectures, I got to pin my brains out on Pinterest, research some vendors, and even took a little trip to Greenville, South Carolina to celebrate a friend’s birthday. All in all, it was a good week! Football has started (GO NOLES!) and everyday I get closer and closer to marrying my best friend - just a little reminder that there is so much to be grateful for. Side note: while on my regular life hiatus, I discovered the most amazing site in the world. Please join me as I laugh my face off here.

This week, things should be back in order. Flex + Fit has resumed its normal class schedule (yippee!) and so has lecture (not so yippee!). We are gearing up for the September weigh-in in as well. I’m excited to see what type of “shape” changes I’ve made.

I hope you’re making progress! I still can’t believe it’s already September…

World peace and skinny jeans,

Sheri xo
