Two men were killed in a single-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon along a Lincoln County highway.
The N.C. Highway Patrol said the crash happened around 12:45 p.m. on N.C. 10, not far from N.C. 18.
Eric Timothy Hicks, 33, was driving a 1985 Toyota truck west when the truck ran off the road and overturned, troopers said.
Hicks, of Yadkinville, and his 42-year-old passenger, Larry Cook of Vale, died as a result of the crash.
Troopers said speed contributed to the wreck.
