Local Realtor a national finalist
Statesville Realtor Ginger Dowdle, of Sunrise Realty & Development, has been named as one of 10 finalists for the National Association of Realtors Good Neighbor Award.
For the past 13 years, this award has been given to realtors who improve their communities with volunteer work. Dowdle – who founded The Shepherd’s Watch Ministries with her husband – is a member of the Charlotte Regional Realtor Association and won the association’s 2011 Humanitarian award and $2,000 for The Shepherd’s Watch.
In October, five winners will be chosen from the 10 national finalists.
Winners will receive a $10,000 grant for their community cause and the five honorable mentions will receive a $2,500 grant. The winners will be featured in the November/December issue of Realtor Magazine.
