FAITH -- Authorities in Rowan County are investigating a burglary at the residence where a 1-year-old who drowned last week had lived, and they say the break-in apparently happened during the toddlers funeral.
The sheriffs office says someone broke into the home of Nicholas Munn and Jessica Kepley, on Rockwood Drive south of Salisbury.
Parker Munn drowned Sept. 11 in the fountain at a neighbors house. Deputies say his parents discovered the burglary when they returned from the childs funeral Saturday.
Thieves took about $4,000 worth of items, according to the sheriffs office, including clothes, a TV set and jewelry. Also stolen: the Bible that was in Parkers room.
