GASTONIA -- A 20-year-old Bessemer City man has been charged with trying to solicit sex over the Internet with a minor, Gaston County police say.
Dillon Gregory Ledford was arrested Wednesday and charged with soliciting sex from a minor by computer, and distributing pornographic materials to a minor.
Investigators allege Ledford tried to solicit sex from a female that he believed to be 14 years old. The arrest followed an investigation by detectives, according to police. He is being held under $25,000 bond.
