Atkinson to speak to Uptown Dems

June Atkinson, North Carolina’s superintendent of public instruction, will speak to Charlotte’s Uptown Democratic Forum Wednesday at noon.

Atkinson, a Democrat who has served since 2005, faces Republican John Tedesco.
