A Lancaster, S.C., man was tased twice by deputies after he escaped a patrol car while it was moving on Sunday, according to authorities.

Deputies from the Lancaster County Sheriff's Department arrested Michael Knight, 34, for failing to pay child support.

Knight was in the back of the patrol when he kicked out the window and jumped out of the moving vehicle.

Deputies said they chased Knight down and deployed the taser on him twice after he failed to listen to their commands.

Knight caused $2,000 in damages to the patrol car, according to the police report.
