Fall plant sale
UNC Charlotte Botanical Gardens will host a plant sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday at their 9090 Craver Road location. Experts will be on hand to answer questions and help select shrubs, perennials, wildflowers and cool-weather annuals, in addition to native plants and others. Witherspoon Rose Culture will host this free autumn garden walk from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 6 at their 4401 Shopton Road location.
